For this project we were tasked with designing a piece of furniture to then be built. My design intent was to create a dresser that had plenty of room for clothing by creating deep and wide drawers. the drawers would also include dividers to organize the clothing that would put in it. the dresser would be 3 feet in height, 2 feet in width, and 18 inches deep. These measurements would allow the dresser to fit into any space while providing enough storage. The dresser consists of 3 drawers that are 7 inches tall and 18 inches deep. My inspiration for designing this piece of furniture was to create something that I was in need of and would be able to take with me no matter where I am living in the world.
