I have always had a passion for art and design. When I realized that interior design was the career path I wanted to follow I took advantage of any opportunity that would allow me to learn more about interior design. As a junior in high school I had the opportunity to enroll in a vocational class by the name of engineering design and technology. For my last two years of high school in this program I had the chance to learn programs such as AutoCAD and Revit as well as hand drafting. My favorite project in that class was designing a Disney hotel resort. My partner and I designed a Toy Story themed resort and we used Revit to design it. I enjoyed every moment of that project as it combined my love for Disney and interior design. At that moment I realized that interior design was my true passion and that I wanted to do this for the rest of my life. I wanted a career that would allow me to be creative while helping others in a positive way and interior design is that career.
